Archery is a fun and accessible activity for everyone. With a bit of patience, focus and perseverance, you’ll quickly see improvement as your aim becomes more accurate and consistent.

Archery is a rewarding activity that gives instant feedback – every shot tells you something new about your technique. It’s also a great opportunity to encourage friendly competition, celebrate progress and take on board tips from our qualified instructors.
Along the way, you’ll learn about the equipment and techniques that have been used for centuries, while taking part in games designed to keep things fun, engaging and skill-focused.
Archery helps develop a range of valuable skills including hand-eye coordination, balance, patience, calmness and concentration. Safety is also a key part of the session, with clear rules in place so everyone can play their part in keeping the range safe for all.
Kit Requirements
- All activities take place outdoors, so participants should be prepared for both sun and rain with appropriate protection.
- We provide all specialist equipment, including bows and arm guards. However, we
recommend wearing well-fitted clothing, as loose or baggy items (or anything with dangly attachments) can get in the way.
- Long hair should be tied back securely.
